Is anyone else finding the USF a little underpowered when compared to the units of other factions, or is there something I can do to be a better USF player? I understand that even for American equipment and Tanks in the game which are focused around mobility and versatility and not inflicting heavy damage like the OKW units but even than, the pershing getting killed extremely easily? A supposedly heavy tank and the equal of the king tiger and the superior tank on the field? Even for an American Tank I know enough about the Pershing that it should shred any German unit it comes across even for COH2. Is anyone else finding the USF seriously underpowered? I've found that even veteren infantry with weapon upgrades supported by the best tanks or AT guns and MGs get totally slaughtered late game even by supposedly inferior OKW units.Įven the Pershing tank is a pushover and I've found that it can be easily killed by any OKW unit with any sort of anti armor capability while the OKW king tiger which is supposedly the equal to the pershing is nigh indestructable and can tear infantry to shreds (The USF is based around the versatility of intantry btw) which makes any lengthy game totally unbalanced for the USF as soon as any late game powerful OKW units enter the field.
For future rference i'm asking this from a point of view from playing against hard AI which is a baseline for me its not hard but not to easy either.
